Believe it or not, it's located in one of the most harsh, desolate arid regions in the U.S. ; the Mojave Desert in Twentynine Palms, California. The picture was taken in October 2012. Every plant and tree that you can see in this landscape is edible, and nearly every planting at this property is either edible or it has another essential purpose.
